Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how DBEE, Inc. ("DBEE"), a United States corporation doing business as FreshTalent ("FreshTalent," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website at https://freshtalent.ai, API at https://api.freshtalent.ai, documentation at https://docs.freshtalent.ai, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Looking for information about your professional profile? Read the professional profile notice below or visit Your privacy choices to request access, correction, deletion, suppression, or an opt-out. You do not need a FreshTalent account to make a request.
1. Who we are
FreshTalent is a B2B talent graph. We help recruiting and talent teams search, monitor, and receive signals about publicly available professional profiles. The contracting entity for the Service is DBEE, Inc. Questions and privacy requests: support@freshtalent.ai.
DBEE, Inc. determines the purposes and means of maintaining the shared talent graph and acts as its data controller where that term applies. Our customers are responsible for their own use of information they receive, including their recruiting communications and records. Those customer responsibilities do not replace our responsibilities for the graph we operate.
2. Two kinds of information
This policy covers two distinct sets of information:
- Customer and visitor information — information about people who create accounts, visit the site, or contact us (for example your work email).
- Public professional data in the talent graph — names, titles, employers, locations, career history, and related public profile information. We index this data so customers can search and monitor it. It is not collected from a direct relationship with those individuals.
The product does not provide candidate email addresses or phone numbers as fields. Person identifiers are public profile URLs or slugs. Public source pages may still contain contact details in free text; we do not offer those as enrichment.
3. Customer and visitor information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information — email address, authentication credentials or tokens, and organization or workspace details you provide when you sign up or manage your account.
- Billing information — payment and invoice details processed by our payment processor when billing is enabled. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Usage and request metadata — API key identifiers, endpoints called, timestamps, usage, IP addresses, user-agent strings, and similar technical logs needed to operate, bill, secure, and debug the Service.
- Customer-submitted inputs — identifiers you send (for example public profile or company URLs, search parameters, lists, or watch targets) so we can fulfill your request.
- Support communications — emails and messages you send to us, and related metadata.
4. Professional profile notice: sources, data, and signals
We retrieve and store publicly available professional profile, company, job, and post data from public sources in order to operate search, monitoring, historical snapshots, diffs, and alerts. That data may include:
- Identifiers such as name and public profile URL
- Professional and employment information (title, employer, dates, headline)
- Education, skills, languages, and similar profile fields
- Location as shown on the public profile
- Public posts and profile photos where the source makes them public
- Related public identities we can match (for example other public developer or social profiles)
- Signals we derive from public changes over time (for example a new role, open-to-work, or profile edits). These are estimates and can be inaccurate.
We may keep this information in our graph and refresh it so monitoring stays current. If you are an individual whose publicly available professional information appears in the Service, you may request access, correction, or suppression by emailing support@freshtalent.ai.
Source categories include public professional networks, developer platforms, and public social profiles and posts, such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and X. We may obtain public-source information directly or through data providers, and may find or refresh a profile following a customer-submitted public profile identifier. A person can appear in the graph without having registered with FreshTalent or applied to a customer. Public availability does not by itself mean the person has consented to our processing or has given up privacy rights.
Some signals describe observed changes; others are inferences. For example, an "Exploring" signal uses changes to professional profile text to suggest possible career exploration. It is not the person's statement that they are looking for a job, available for hire, or willing to be contacted. Signals can be wrong, and customers can use them in search, filtering, and monitoring. You can ask us to correct underlying information or object to an inference through Your privacy choices.
5. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service, including search and monitoring
- Authenticate users and manage access, seats, and usage
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Monitor security, abuse, rate limits, and service reliability
- Communicate with you about the Service, including transactional and support messages
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to submit identifiers and to use returned data in your own products and workflows. The Service is not offered as a consumer report. See our Terms of Service for FCRA and acceptable-use limits.
6. How we share information
We do not sell customer account information. Customers receive public professional profile data and signals through search, lists, exports, APIs, and alerts as part of the Service. Recipients include recruiting and staffing teams and hiring organizations using the Service for talent sourcing and monitoring.
We use service providers to operate the Service. These may include categories such as:
- Cloud hosting, content delivery, and related infrastructure
- Authentication and data storage
- Payment processing, when billing is enabled
- Transactional email and customer communications
- Product analytics, which may include pageviews, clicks, heatmaps, and session recordings. Recordings are configured to mask form inputs and secrets such as API keys.
These providers process information as needed to deliver their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the Service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and/or local storage to maintain authenticated sessions, remember preferences, keep the Service secure, and measure product usage. This may include analytics cookies used to associate visits and recordings with the same browser. These are not advertising cookies.
8. Retention
We keep customer account data while the account is active and afterward as needed for billing, security, and legal records. Usage and request logs are kept as needed for those purposes.
Public professional profiles remain in the talent graph while we operate the index, and may be refreshed, updated, or removed as sources change or when we grant a suppression request. For questions about a specific record, email support@freshtalent.ai.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights, including California
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@freshtalent.ai. We may need to verify your identity for some request types. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA (as amended), including to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information where those rights apply. For requests that are opt-outs of sale or sharing under applicable law, we will not require more information than the law allows.
Categories we may collect about customers: identifiers (such as email and IP address); commercial information (subscription and billing status); internet or electronic activity (site and API usage); and professional information you provide about your organization.
Categories that may appear in the talent graph: identifiers (name, public profile URL); professional and employment information; education; inferred signals from public profile changes; and general location as shown on a public profile. The product does not use Social Security numbers, government IDs, or precise geolocation, and does not provide candidate email or phone numbers as fields.
We do not sell personal information about our customers. We license customers access to the talent graph for B2B recruiting and talent workflows. If you want a public professional profile suppressed from the Service, email support@freshtalent.ai.
Your privacy choices explains how to submit a request about either your account or a professional profile, including an inferred signal. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf; depending on the request and applicable law, evidence of authority or identity may be needed. Please do not send passwords, API keys, or identity documents with your initial request. If you disagree with our response, you can reply to request a review or an appeal where applicable law provides one. You also retain any right to contact the relevant regulator.
If the EU or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your information, your rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability where applicable, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including in the country where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred, or with the UK Information Commissioner. GDPR requests generally require a response within one month; the law permits an extension of up to two further months for complex or numerous requests, with notice and reasons within the first month.
Licensing access to professional information may be considered a sale under some US state privacy laws. The statements above about not selling customer account information are not a claim that licensing the talent graph is exempt. You can submit a sale or sharing opt-out request through Your privacy choices. Browser cookie settings and account cancellation are separate from a request about a professional profile in the graph.
11. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be transferred to those locations.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate.
